Glenn Pierce

Glenn Pierce has been a leader in the development of charter schools since 1997. As President of Education Initiatives, Glenn is responsible for the oversight and management of all Turner-Agassi investment opportunities across the country.  Throughout his career, Glenn has developed over 120 charter schools in 15 states and the District of Columbia, creating over 50,000 incremental student seats for best-in-class operators across the United States. Prior to joining Turner Impact Capital, Glenn was CEO and President of the Canyon-Agassi Charter School Facilities Fund where he was responsible for the oversight and management of all Canyon-Agassi investment opportunities.   Prior to Canyon-Agassi, Glenn served as President and CEO of Pacific Charter School Development (PCSD), which he founded with funding provided by NewSchools Venture Fund in 2003.  PCSD is a Los Angeles based not-for-profit organization focused on providing underserved California students with high-quality charter school facilities.
Glenn is a graduate of Lafayette College (B.A., Economics), the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (M.B.A.) and the Broad Center for Urban Superintendents. Glenn serves as Chairman of the South Florida Autism Charter Schools.
