Dan Millman

A co-founder of Turner Impact Capital, Dan plays a role in all of the firm’s investment strategies and focuses particularly on investment performance, financing, treasury management, investor reporting, and overall firm operations.
Immediately prior Turner Impact Capital, Dan oversaw all equity and debt investments for Canyon Capital Realty Advisors, where he was a Principal, Head of Asset Management, and a member of the investment and executive committees. While at Canyon, Dan developed and implemented several ground-breaking real estate funds including the $200mm Canyon Catalyst Fund and the $200mm Canyon Multifamily Impact Fund. Prior to Canyon, Dan held various leadership roles with publicly-traded real estate owners.
Dan has served on numerous civic and charitable boards and is currently the chair of the University of Maryland Incentive Awards Advisory Committee, a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Maryland College Park Foundation, and a member of both the Pension Real Estate Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland (B.A., Economics).
